About Me

I'm Your Technical Partner

I help independent journalists, writers, and content professionals keep their digital platforms reliable and secure, so they can focus on creating content and building their audience, not fixing technical problems.

30 Years in the Web Game

I started building websites in 1995. In 2001, I co-founded one of Nicaragua’s first web development agencies. Over the years, I’ve worked with journalists, media outlets, authors, and professional services, from small independent publishers to multinational organizations.

In 2019, I relocated to the United States and started rebuilding my practice with a clear focus: becoming the technical partner for content creators and professionals who’ve turned their expertise into real businesses.

With three decades of experience managing WordPress sites (25 of them professionally) I’ve worked on hundreds of projects. I’ve managed high-traffic media sites (some with millions of monthly visits) for years without missing a beat. I’ve protected news outlets under cyberattack. I’ve helped authors launch platforms that support their books and speaking careers.

More importantly, I’ve learned that what content creators need most isn’t fancy features, it’s reliability, security, and someone who actually answers when there’s a problem.

My Approach

What makes me different? I don’t just fix things when they break, I prevent them from breaking in the first place.

My approach is driven by what your platform needs to accomplish. I started as a programmer building static HTML sites, but quickly moved to content management systems like WordPress because I realized websites are just the vehicle, not the destination. Rather than getting caught up in complex programming, I focus on making it easy for you to create and manage your content—whether that’s text, images, video, or audio.

Success isn’t measured by the technology used, but by whether your website solves the problem it was designed to solve. Sometimes that means ROI, sometimes it means audience engagement, and sometimes it’s simply your satisfaction with the final result.

My specialty is WordPress-based platforms, and I’ve successfully managed high-traffic sites simultaneously and for years, keeping them secure, fast, and reliable.

My Values

I believe in professionalism, often confused with “acting formal.” I consider transparency and direct communication essential for building trust and credibility with my clients.

When it comes to technology, there’s almost always a more affordable option that delivers the same results. I’ll find that option for you, because I believe your money should go toward growing your business, not padding my invoices.

Security has always been a priority in my work, but after 2018, it became even more important to me personally. I’ve developed comprehensive security protocols that I’ve taught to clients as part of my consulting work. When you work with me, you’re getting someone who takes protecting your platform seriously.

Why I Focus on Content Creators

Over 20+ years, I’ve noticed a pattern: my longest, most rewarding client relationships have been with journalists, authors, media outlets, and content-driven professionals. These are people who understand that their website isn’t decoration, it’s infrastructure.

They can’t afford downtime during a major story launch. They need their archives accessible and searchable. They need to know their site is secure when they’re covering controversial topics. They need someone who understands that their reputation depends on their platform being reliable.

That’s why I’ve built my practice around content creators who’ve turned their expertise into sustainable businesses. You need a technical partner who understands what’s at stake, not just a developer who pushes code.
