What to expect

My website audit process

After more than 20 years of developing and managing websites, I know exactly what to look for when something's not working right. My audit process is thorough and systematic, drawing on decades of hands-on experience to identify issues that most audits miss.

  • Kickoff

After payment, you’ll answer a few quick questions about your site: What problems you’re experiencing, your main concerns, and any relevant history. Then you’ll provide secure access credentials so I can dig in. This upfront information ensures the audit focuses on what matters most to you.

  • Full Site Assessment

I run a comprehensive scan of your entire site, examining performance, security, SEO, theme and plugins. I even check your Database. I also conduct baseline performance testing to establish your current speed benchmarks.

  • Findings & Recommendations

You’ll receive a detailed report outlining everything I found, from critical issues to minor improvements. I prioritize the findings so you know what needs immediate attention versus what can wait. During this audit, I’ll fix the most critical issues that are actively harming your site. For additional optimizations and non-critical items, you’ll have clear recommendations that you can implement yourself, assign to your team, or hire me to handle as a separate project.
